This Bike Operation Guide ("Guide") is provided by duke bikes LLC, doing business as duke bikes ("duke bikes," "we," "us," or "our"), to assist users with our bicycle operations but should not be the sole source of a rider's capability to inspect, or operate bikes.

PLEASE READ THIS GUIDE CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING ANY BIKE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN INJURY, DAMAGE, OR ADDITIONAL CHARGES.

By initiating a rental, you confirm that you have read and understood the operating instructions contained in this Guide.

  1. Rider Requirements

Only one person may ride or occupy any bike at any time.

The maximum rider weight, as recommended by the manufacturer, is 350 lbs. Do not use the bike if you exceed this limit.

  1. Operating the Bike

Braking. These bikes use a coaster brake system — to slow or stop, pedal backwards. There are no brake levers on the handlebars. Riders should familiarize themselves with this braking method before riding at speed.

  1. Bike Modifications

Riders must not attach, mount, or modify any component of the bike in any way. No custom mounts, accessories, or adjustments of any kind are permitted.

  1. In Case of a Problem

If you experience any mechanical issue or difficulty operating the bike, stop riding immediately. Do not attempt to repair or adjust the bike yourself. Contact duke bikes at hello@dukebikes.co or, if the situation requires it, contact the applicable authorities.

If you are involved in an accident, prioritize your safety and the safety of others and contact the applicable authorities as needed.
